The Iowa Caucuses are over and Mitt Romney pulled out a ‘squeaker’ win. 8 points. His major opponent? Rick Santorum who came in second with Ron Paul in 3rd. Now we head to New Hampshire. But here is some of the news coming out of Iowa.
Rick Santorum will be putting his game face on for New Hampshire. Clearly he hasn’t given up hopes for this nomination. At this point it is still anybodies game.
Ron Paul, who came in third place will also head into New Hampshire with a positive note. He told his supporters:
“We have a tremendous opportunity to continue this momentum,” Paul added. “I’m looking forward to the day when we can say, ‘We’re all Austrians now!’” (Source: Politico)
Newt Gingrich will be headed to New Hampshire as well. Will he change tactics? What will his focus be? Well, here’s a peek:
Gingrich’s parting words to the people there teed up the New Hampshire strategy he’s counting on to effort an unlikely nomination.
Wednesday morning, New Hampshire Union Leader newspaper subscribers were waking up to find a full-page ad bought by the Gingrich campaign. The former speaker told his supporters that in The Granite State, “We’re not going to go out and run nasty ads. We’re not going to run 30-second ‘gotchas.’ But I do reserve the right to tell the truth.” (Source: FoxNews)
